For those interested in learning more about Serra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu we offer two 30-minute introductory classes designed to familiarize prospective students with the basics of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Fundamental positions, such as the mount and guard, will be reviewed, along with other techniques meant to make the transition to BJJ a smooth one.
These one-on-one classes are also a great opportunity to meet our instructors, view our facilities, and get a feel for the gym and its students.
What do I bring to my introduction class?
Introductory classes are offered throughout the week, and can be scheduled in the afternoon or evening. It is advised that those participating in an intro class wear athletic clothing such as sweatpants or shorts and a t-shirt. Please show up 15 minutes prior to your scheduled class.
